How it works
To sell your knives, please contact us by phone or email with details about the items you're interested in selling. If your knives meet our criteria, we'll instruct you to ship them to us. Please ensure that each knife has an estimated market value of at least $200. We will take care of all photography and descriptions, and we'll discuss pricing with you upon receipt of your knives. Once a knife is sold, you will receive 75% of the final sale price.
We do not accept any items with Ivory.

Include all your contact information
Include any information you have for each knife sent, including maker, name of knife/model, blade & handle materials, etc.
Pack your Knives like you care about them.
Please be very careful when sending things in glass cases, they usually show up broken.
You are welcome to choose any shipping method you prefer for sending your knives to us; however, we strongly recommend that you insure your shipment. Please note that we do not cover shipping or insurance costs for the receipt or return of consignment knives. Our insurance coverage only takes effect once we have received your shipment. To ensure complete protection, it is advisable to insure your consignment from the moment it is dispatched until we acknowledge delivery.

Knives should be clean and in salable condition. Repair, sharpening and/or cleaning fees will be charged if we need to work on a knife to make it presentable and will delay placement on the site.
Due to the large number of consignments, we accept each week, it may take up to four weeks from the date we receive your knives to post them on the site. Holidays and staffing schedules may lengthen this time. We will contact you to confirm that we have received your knives.

Pricing
We are happy to provide our recommendations on pricing for your consignment knives, but the final decision rests with you. While some individuals choose to allow us to manage the pricing entirely, others may have specific amounts they wish us to adhere to. Setting the right price is crucial; it can mean the difference between selling a knife within minutes or having it sit unsold for months. Therefore, we will collaborate closely with you to establish a pricing strategy that not only fulfills your requirements but also encourages a successful sale.
Please note that we are unable to provide specific pricing suggestions until we have your knives in our possession. However, we assure you that the prices we set will meet your satisfaction. Keep in mind that this process may take some time; once we receive your knives, it could take 2-3 weeks for us to attend to them. We operate with a continuous queue that we are diligently working through. We appreciate your patience as we prepare your knives for listing. Thank you for your understanding.
Please do not send us any one item with an estimated market value of less than $200. We reserve the right to accept or decline any knife for consignment for any reason. Declined knives will be returned to the owner at owner expense
Changing prices
Once your knives have been listed on the site, you will be able to view all of your consignment items in your Member's Account. You will also be able to view past/present payout information so you can keep track of what you have been paid, and what you have coming up on the next payout.
If you choose to change the price on your consignment item, it will be added to our "Activation List" and will be added to the "Recently Added" section. Every day (Monday-Friday) we "Activate" the list at 3:30pm CST. Price reductions must be equal to or greater than 5% of the listed price for the item to be added to the "Recently Added". Please be sure to actually change the price. If it didn't sell at that price the first time, it probably won't this time either.
Sometimes a price drop and a little exposure is all it takes to make a knife sell.
Descriptions
We will write a description that represents your knife as accurately as possible and to best conform with Search Engine Optimization. Although you may provide your own descriptions if you wish, we reserve the right to edit the description in any way we deem appropriate.
Payment
We have a scheduled payout once a month, on the second Tuesday of every month. On each payout date we will mail you a check and an accounting for any of your knives that were sold during the previous month. (i.e. If your knife sold in June, you will be paid on our July payout date, and so on). Please be aware it is YOUR responsibility to notify us of any address changes so that we mail your check to the correct address. If you change your address in your customer dashboard, you STILL need to notify us of the change via email. Invalid or wrong addresses will result in Warhammer Blades having to cancel the check and re-issue a new one resulting in a $40.00 fee charged to you by our bank.
Other payment methods include "Hold in Account" - you can hold the funds to use towards purchases, OR PayPal, know that you will be charged the PayPal fees if you choose this method, we CANNOT send the payment as "GIFT".
Please note that we determine the sale date of a knife by when it is fully paid and shipped to the customer. For example, a knife may be ordered at the end of June and not paid for and shipped until July. In this case, our consignment payout would be in August for this knife.
If payment has been made and you have not claimed your funds within 180 days, you will forfeit the funds. Warhammer Blades is not responsible for lost or misplaced checks. Re-issued checks are subject to the $40.00 fee charged by our bank.

Layaway
We offer 60-day layaway orders through the site on select knives. If you would like your knife or knives eligible for layaway, please let us know. Your payout for any knives ordered on layaway would be after the knife is fully paid and shipped to the customer. Your knives will not be sold on layaway unless you choose that option.
Damage Waiver
We maintain a secure, environmentally controlled storage facility for the protection of your knives. However, we are not responsible for damage or change in condition of your knives while stored in our facility unless due to overt carelessness on our part. Specifically, we are not responsible for rust, cracking of natural materials, or other material degradation.
Security and Insurance
Our facility boasts a state-of-the-art security system designed to safeguard your valuable items. We have comprehensive security cameras monitoring every corner, advanced motion and glass break sensors, and 24-hour monitoring to ensure constant vigilance. When the facility is locked down, internal metal security gates secure all windows and doors. Additionally, our vault features reinforced steel security doors along with climate and humidity controls to preserve your items. To further enhance your peace of mind, we maintain specialized insurance that protects our entire inventory against theft, damage, flooding, natural disasters, and more. Your treasures are in safe hands with us.
Failure to Maintain Contact Information
It is your responsibility to ensure that we have correct contact information for you including email, phone, and mailing address. If we attempt to contact you and after 3 attempts have been unsuccessful, we will send a certified letter to the last address we have on file. If we do not hear from you in 30 days for the date of the certified letter, we will sell or otherwise dispose of the knives at our sole discretion. We will hold funds from sale for 6 months from date of the certified letter, after which you forfeit all claim for your knives or funds due.
Miscellaneous
You may choose to have your knife removed from the site and returned to you at any time. You will be responsible for return shipping and insurance costs. In addition, if the knife/knives have been on the site less than six (6) months, you will be assessed a $25 handling fee per knife.
If your knife is listed on our site, it cannot be listed anywhere else for sale.
